A commission for The Bristol Buddhist Centre. With it’s calm, contemporary lines, Inner piece acts as a focal point for contemplation and meditation within a spacious shrine room. For this project I used English Ash that came from a fallen tree originally from Pilton in Somerset. A uniquely beautiful rippled and deeply coloured timber was revealed when cut and worked. The design can be adapted to work in other domestic or public space settings.
